Documents related to tax benefits applicable to yield on
US issuers' securities

To obtain tax benefits applicable to yield from US issuers' securities subject to Chapters 3 and 4 of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code, clients of Concern General Invest are required to:

  1. Submit a completed W-8BEN form for private clients or W-8BENE for corporations.
  2. File the relevant instruction in the attached form to participate in the corporate disclosure action to obtain tax benefits for US securities yield on the account of Concern General Invest with the National Settlement Depository.

W-8BEN-E is a form used to identify a non-U.S. legal entity who is eligible for the tax rate under the U.S. double taxation treaty in relation to dividends payable on US securities, interest-bearing debt certificate, discounted short-term bonds, and bank deposit certificates (if applicable);

W-8BEN is a form to identify a non-US individual entity who is eligible for the tax rate under the U.S. double taxation treaty in relation to dividends payable on US securities, interest-bearing debt certificate, discounted short-term bonds, and bank deposit certificates (if applicable).
